1. Harvest multiple crops at time
2. You can pay a lot of diamonds for them
3. Collect animal products
4. Buy the supplies from other players by shopping in the Daily Dirt
5. Loot Mystery Boxes
6. Add lots of friends to your Game Center and you can scroll through their Roadside Shops (I find lots of supplies this way)
Grow crops. LOTS of crops! Even if you don't need them (just sell them in the store, or make something out of them like bread or chicken food and sell that)... just grow them! As you harvest, you will get land deeds, nails, etc.

The $2.4 Million-Per-Day Company: Supercell
The ‘Hit-Makers from Helsinki’ have posted massive revenues with a small, international team and few games. The game developer just raised $130 million on a $770 million valuation and could explode even further with new markets and a jump to Android.
The first thing you notice when you enter Supercell’s glassy Helsinki offices is the assortment of shoes strewn on the floor at the foot of a coat rack near the entrance. Finland's climate yields a lot of snow and it’s probably a good idea to leave frost-caked footwear at the door. The result is that business is conducted in socks and slippers.
Shoes or no, Supercell is the current king of mobile gaming, with its 8.5 million daily players generating $2.4 million every day, sometimes more. Supercell is already at a run-rate of more than $800 million for 2013, having earned $179 million before expenses in the first quarter alone. If Supercell plays its cards right, it could reach a billion by years end.
Oh, and one more thing—it only has two (2) games on the market right now, only available on iOS for iPads and iPhones/iPods: the social farming experience, Hay Day, and the tower defense game, Clash of Clans.
On Mondays, Supercell’s employees enjoy a catered breakfast together, with cold cuts, fruit, coffees, juices; and discuss whats happening within the company. On the black walls in the office’s main thoroughfare are written snippets of feedback the company's games have drawn from players. “I can’t get enough of Hay Day!” reads one. “My kids love to check on my barbarian horde,” reads another. “Ecelente juego muy adictivo y entretenido.”
What is the Draw?
Part of what makes Clash of Clans and Hay Day so insanely addictive is what Supercell employees like to call the “soul of the game.” This soul materializes through those small details that lead players deeper into the game, such as the charming aesthetics of game characters like sheep that overflow with wool when it’s time to sheer them or pigs that become so fat they cannot walk, indicating it’s time to harvest their meat.
According to Timur Haussila, a product lead and one of the brains behind Hay Day, the aesthetics are a big deal and, in fact, the visuals of the animals on Hay Day came first. “It has a huge impact,” he said. “Its the first thing that you see.”
Hay Day, by game developer Supercell, draws 4 million players per day, 69% of them women.
Another aspect of a game’s soul is emotion. You have to feel it, especially in a mobile game where screens are small and game play simple. Co-founder and Creative Director Mikko Kodisoja, told me that a good game should tickle a players funny-bone, incite excitement and sometimes even anger.
You can not discount the social aspect of mobile gaming as a draw. Friends and game connections can cooperate on both of Supercell’s games. “We made sure that (Hay Day) is truly social,” said game product manager Stephan Demirdjian. “It means that on our platform not only can you visit other players, but you can help them. One of the core features of the game is that you can not only produce but also sell goods to other players.” That sell with in-game money. You can use real money to buy yourself game resources and power-ups.
Clash of Clans features organized conflict among groups of players. This breeds two things: a sense of community and the fire of competition. Groups of Clash players (called “Clans”) can coordinate attacks and share resources and all are locked in deadly (well, not deadly, but it seems that way) battle against other clans and players. The need to do right by your clan and also beat adversaries drives players to spend their own money to purchase in-game power-ups and resources.
“At some point it’s not the game that will suck you in but your clan or your alliance or the other people,” says Kodisoja.
Down with Bureaucracy
Supercell’s culture is all about small teams with autonomy doing what they do best. When I sat down with CEO Ilkka Paananen, a boyish 34-year-old decked out in Supercell attire, he told me his goal was to become the worlds least powerful CEO by relinquishing control to these “cells.” “Get the best people then get out of the way and let those people do their jobs,” Paananen said.
Every cell makes its own decisions – regarding how to change or whether to kill a game – and the idea of having an autocratic leader in any group is abhorrent to the company. Sure, there is a team member that keeps the group adhering to some kind of schedule, but the chemistry of autonomy seems to have created a sense of responsibility that keeps the cells moving of their own volition.
When you walk around Supercell’s offices, it seems that every group has its own corner, yet they freely mingle throughout the day. There are no personal offices at Supercell, just several conference rooms with names like “Ultramarine” and “Unicorn Tears,” (a room with couches, stuffed unicorns and a TV).
Growing and Growing and Growing and…
The 95-employee company is swelling. When I spent time with the customer support team in Helsinki, they told me that in September they had numbered six and now their ranks have grown to 15, with two more in an office in San Francisco (12 nationalities, giving support in 9 languages, handing about 20,000 customer communiques a week).
The analytic and engineering team has doubled in size in the past six months and is in search of personnel, said team lead Sami Yliharju, standing among his team beneath their “World Domination” map which displays real-time info on where in the world people are playing Supercell games. Yliharju likens his sectors growth to being strapped to a rocket. “Every few weeks we are running new servers,” he said.
A year ago the team overseeing the development and maintenance of the Clash of Clans game (4.5 million daily players) had five members. Now it’s up to 11, said team lead and company co-founder Lassi Leppinen. Leppinen estimates that there are almost 500,000 clans worldwide of no more than 50 members each. This spring, two people who had met at a meeting of one of those clans got married, he said, smiling. Who says mobile gaming can’t bring people together in a meaningful way?
In the US Supercell has a six-person outpost working out of co-working space in San Francisco. According to Paananen, the company will be taking over a new, dedicated office there that could eventually house 50 employees.
In total, the company's ranks are made up of 21 nationalities, 60% of employees are from Finland and, just to make things easier, all business is conducted in English.
Future?
By the numbers, Supercell is currently the hottest mobile gaming company on the planet. In the next year the ‘Hit-Makers from Helsinki’ will take several steps to try to send that success into overdrive: breaking into the lucrative Asian markets and bringing their games to Android. Traction in China alone – the Android-heavy, largest mobile market in the world – would be a tremendous financial success if they can pull it off through convincing localization.
Should Supercell experience any failures along the way, I doubt it would get the company down. My first night in Helsinki – dining on reindeer and salmon soup at a local restaurant with Kodisoja, Haussila and company spokesperson Heini Vesander – Supercell has a party when one of their ideas fails. The entire company meets, discusses what to take away from their loss and drinks champagne to celebrate. As Kodisoja told me that night, “We are not celebrating failure; we are celebrating the learning that comes from failure.”

Supercell video game company
Ilkka Paananen, founder and CEO of Supercell
Supercell started developing games for mobile devices in 2011 and has since then released two games: Clash of Clans and Hay Day. Accel Partners invested 12 million dollars in Supercell in 2011.
- In the multiplayer game Clash of Clans, players build their community, train troops and attack other players to earn gold and elixir. They also build defenses to protect from attackers. The game includes chat so players can communicate. Players can also join clans to aid one another with forces.
- In Hay Day players build a farm with fields and animals. They can gather crops to sell them to other players or to feed their animals and make value added products and feed. The game allows players to "friend" other players and engage in trade.

Things I wish new sooner
1. No need to open so many queue slots for the smelter...it takes a long time to make a bar of Gold, Silver or platinum. Two queues are plenty.
2. No need to buy the 3rd chicken coop. With 2 coops and 24 chickens, you can make plenty of eggs for yourself, plus you can buy them (they are everywhere)
3. Keep saving Land Expansion items (land deeds, mallets and stakes) even after you open up all your land...you will need them to expand your fishing pond.
4. When you open the classifieds (by tapping on the mailbox) you can turn the pages of the newspaper by sliding your finger from right to left (there are 10 pages)
5. To harvest faster, you can touch the field with two fingers simultaneously and move it around.
6. You can cast your boat off if you don't want to fill the order by tapping the boat icon. (Tap your boat you will see load cargo, just tap boat photo, then cast off)

Postman FAQs
1. How does it work?
Whenever you help a neighbor either by filling a crate or reviving a tree an envelope will appear at their end attached to your avatar icon. If they click once on the envelope for crates and double click for trees they will automatically send you a thank you letter, which may or may not contain a gift card. Vice versa, if somebody helps you, you will see the icon and must click on it within a certain amount of time if you want to send them a thank you note. If you choose not to for some reason the crate or tree will still be filled or revived. Within about 24 hours your postman will arrive with the letters you have received from people you have helped. (He usually comes at the same time as Greg restocks his shop and the wheel of fortune arrives.)
When you click on your new postbox you will see a pile of envelopes. There are 2 ways to collect these. Either click on 'collect all' - in which case the envelopes will whizz into the air depositing any enclosed gift cards in your catalog, or, if you want to see the contents, swipe the letters slowly upwards and each one will open individually so you can see who sent them and which ones contain gift cards, and then you can click on 'collect all' to receive them. You can see how many gift cards you have received on the front of the catalog.
2. How many letters and gift cards do I get?
Depending on how many people you have helped you should receive up to 30 envelopes containing a maximum of 5 gift cards. You will already have received one gift card as a present in the tutorial.
3. I helped a lot more people than that, what happens to the surplus?
The maximum amount of thank you cards you can receive a day is 30, but you can store up to 60 letters before Alfred stops delivering until you have emptied your mailbox.
4. I am only receiving 5 letters and I helped a lot more people. Why is that?
It could be you clicked on 'collect all' so only saw the 5 gift cards, not all the thank you letters that flew into the air! Or it is possible that not everyone clicked on your icon, so no letter will have been sent. If you are still only receiving 5 envelopes a day now, contact support under your game settings.
5. Can I choose the gifts that are given or the wording of the thank you card I send?
No, I'm afraid not. These are randomly generated and are rather like thank you cards you can buy in real life. I'm afraid if, for example, one of your neighbor's cards says, 'I'll send you an ice cream' they didn't actually write it, so I'm afraid you won't be receiving a lovely dairy treat!
6. If I don't play for a couple of days, what happens to the letters?
Once you have 60 letters in your mailbox Alfred will see you are not in and will move on to the next farm! He won't deliver again until you have collected your post. (Thanks aussiebob for the info!)
7. How do I get my gift?
When you have saved up the requisite number of cards click on the package in the catalogue you wish to receive. Within a minute or two you should see the mailman arriving (now that's quick service!) with your package which he will leave by your house for you to open.
8. I haven't received a visit from the mailman yet. Why?
You have to be level 15 or above. If you are and have helped enough people and they have all clicked on the envelope you should have received some gift cards. You may have missed him, I'm not sure how long he hangs around! Try clicking on your new mailbox again and if you still get nothing contact SC through your Hay Day settings as it may be a glitch. (I'm a little in the dark about this one as haven't seen much feedback on it)
9. I paid diamonds and still haven't received my package. It says, 'order pending'
Difficult one this. Again little feedback. Did the diamonds go off of your total? It may also be a question of which package you purchased. The fourth package does get changed and might need a refresh. Also the amount of diamonds needed for this package varies, so you might have been unlucky enough to have been caught between two offers, in which case the amount of diamonds you paid might not tarry with the cost. If you still haven't received it contact SC support under the help button in the top left of your screen.
10. Is there a difference in gifts between iPhone and iPad? I can see a tractor in my game and my husband has got a bike. He's jealous!
It's not a difference between the devices, just random on both. Next time you may see the bike and he may have a chance at the tractor!
11. Do you know if it could be possible that the gifts under the ? could be linked to the level of the player? i am a level 55 player and got coins, which I have plenty of, my partner who hasn't been playing very long (I think he thought if you can't beat them join them LOL) got TNT which he can't use as he's already cleared his land, but hasn't got the mine yet. He would have loved the coins. He did sell the TNT to me, but it would have been nicer if it had been the other way around with a couple of extra TNT's perhaps?
I'm afraid that I can't help there. Maybe you could send a feedback email to Hay Day suggesting this? I certainly know the concept of a surplus of coins!
12. Is there any way I can see the farms of people who have helped me so I can go see if they need any help?
Yes there is. The very handy new addition to your menu where you can see which of your friends and followers and strangers helped you last, entitled, - wait for it!...... 'last helpers'! Click on their icon and go see their farm! Each helper is visible for a limited amount of time though, so will disappear eventually when more helpers are added. Also do know that strangers you help will see your icon, too, so will have access to your road side stall, which I know can be a problem for some who like only to sell to friends and followers, though the newspaper and the leader board do already give people this option.
13. Can I send thank you notes via Alfred from the roadside markets as I'd like to let them know how much they helped me out with my orders.
I'm sorry I'm afraid you can't, though I know that would be nice!
14. What happens when I go over the 40 gift cards shown on the front of the catalog? Do I still receive the extra ones?
Max letter daily is 30
Max letter storage is 60 (if you don't collect them daily)
5 gift cards per day max and you can store 40, unless you get 5 when you have 39 then you have 44.'
15. I claimed my gift yesterday, and can't find it anywhere. Where is it?
First of all, check by your house. Is there a package there? If so your gift is in there. If you have already opened the package it depends what was in it. If it was a decoration it will be under your decorations tab, if it was an expansion item or tool it will be in your barn, and if it was coins it will have been added to your total.
Follow or Unfollow a farm
You can only follow 5 farms at any given time.
The only people you are able to follow are the people from the classifieds. Just visit their farm's Roadside shop
The Blue Outlined photos are the farms that you are following.
At the top of the screen is a gold ribbon and a smiley face. Click on the gold ribbon to follow or to unfollow a farm.

How does fishing work?
How does fishing
work?
By now you must have noticed your uncle’s old boat on the
shore; she used to be such a beauty. Fix her up and set sail on a new fishing
adventure!
Fixing boat costs 39000 coins. It will take take three days.
Using 60 diamonds you are set to go at once.
Down the river you will discover a new fishing area. Angus
will guide you through the basics of fishing. Once you have followed the
tutorial Angus will give you 3 free lures and you will be ready to catch your
first fish!
Visit the fishing hut to check your progress in your uncle’s
old fishing book, there you will find a reward for each new type of fish you
catch!
To create new lures just tap on the lure workbench and
select the type of lure you would like to make.
When you finally return home, you will find a nice stash of
fish filet to create new and exciting products with!
What is the My
Fishing Book?
When you tap on your
fishing hut, you will find a scrapbook where you can keep a log on all the
different fish you have caught and the rewards you have unlocked.
There are 30 different fish species that can be caught and
when you catch a new fish type, go back to your fish scrapbook, flip through
the pages until you find its picture flashing and claim a reward. The rewards
you receive depend on the fish’s weight. Obviously the heaviest catch will give
the highest reward for each fish species. So make sure you catch them all.
Also, as you flip through the pages and wonder how to catch
more of one type of fish or how to catch a new type of fish, take a closer look
to find hints on what types of lures attract a certain fish and what fishing
area you can find them. For example, tap and hold the pictures to read a brief
description about the different types of fish.
How do I get lures?
The purpose of the lure is to use movement and color to
catch the fish's attention. You can produce 5 different kinds of lures (red,
green, blue, purple and gold) at the lure workbench and each lure attracts
different kinds of fishes . You don't
need any resources to produce the red lure but you will need vouchers to
produce the other lures.
How do I fish?
To see the tutorial on how to fish just tap Angus.
To start fishing in any open fishing area just tap and hold
a lure, and drag it into the water. Try to attract a fish to the bait by slowly
moving it in the water. When a fish bites, a circle will appear around the pool
and start to close. You need to keep the struggling fish inside the (green) circle
by pulling the line in the opposite direction to where the fish is swimming.
If you can keep the fish inside the circle (green) until it
closes, you have caught the fish and can collect your reward from the fishing
scrapbook. Don’t worry about the ones that get away, you can try again until
you catch one! You won’t lose your lure
if the fish get away.
It works the same way as unlocking land expansion back at
your farm. You will need a certain amount of land deeds, mallets and marker
stakes to unlock any given area – the exact amount required will display when
you tap on a locked area.
You can find the expansion items by playing the game
(harvesting crops, collecting products from animals, spinning the wheel ,etc.),
or you can purchase the missing tools with diamonds by clicking on the
"+".
I lost my lure!!!
You don't lose the lure if you don't catch the fish! You can
try fishing with the same lure as many times until you catch a fish.
Fish Weights
Each fish has three different weight levels, bronze, silver
and gold. You can claim a reward (Diamonds) for each level. There are 30 different fish
with 3 different weight levels, which equals 90 rewards.

Hay Day Fishing
Fishing Guide
How does fishing work?
By now you must have noticed your uncle’s old boat on the shore; she used to be such a beauty. Fix her up and set sail on a new fishing adventure!
Down the river you will discover a new fishing area and get to meet Angus, who will guide you through the basics of fishing. Once you have followed the tutorial Angus will give you 3 free lures and you will be ready to catch your first fish! Visit the fishing hut to check your progress in your uncles old fishing book, and there you will find a reward for each new type of fish you catch!
To create new lures just tap on the lure workbench and select the type of lure you would like to make.
When you finally return home, you will find a nice stash of fish filet to create new and exciting products with!
How do I fish?
Fishing is a fun new feature introduced with the latest update. It is very easy to learn but gets more challenging as you move to different fishing areas and try to catch rarer fish.
To start fishing in any open fishing area just tap and hold a lure, and drag it into the water. Try to attract a fish to the bait by slowly moving it in the water. When a fish bites, a circle will appear around the pool and start to close. You need to keep the struggling fish inside the circle by pulling the line in the opposite direction to where the fish is swimming.
If you can keep the fish inside the circle until it closes, you have caught the fish and can collect your reward from the fishing scrapbook. Don’t worry about the ones that get away, you can try again until you find a catch! You won’t lose your lure if the fish get away.
Angus will show you how to fish when you first enter the fishing area. Angus will also help you out any time, just by tap him to see the tutorial again.
How to unlock fishing areas?
Its time to explore your new fishing area! When you start your fishing adventure, the water will be covered with fog and you have to unlock an area in order to see it.
How do you unlock an area? Simple! It works the same way as unlocking expansion slots back at your farm. You will need a certain amount of land deeds, mallets and marker stakes to unlock any given area – the exact amount required will display when you tap on a locked area.
If you need expansion items to open an area, you can be patient and wait until you find the missing tools through playing the game (harvesting crops, collecting products from animals, spinning the wheel etc.), or you can purchase the missing tools with diamonds by clicking on the "+". Using the second option, you will be immediately able to unlock a new fishing area.
There are several different types of fishing area to explore. For example rocky areas, deep and shallow areas, reef areas. In different areas, different types of fish can be caught.
Pssst! Take a closer look at the pictures in the fishing book for clues about which areas contain which fish!
How do I get lures?
The purpose of the lure is to use movement and color to catch the fish's attention. You can produce 5 different kinds of lures (red, green, blue, purple and gold) at the lure workbench and each lure attracts different kinds of fishes (have a sneak peek at the scrapbook and get a hint!). You get 3 red lures for free but you will have to produce more lures if you want to catch more fish
You don't need any resources to produce the red lure but you will need vouchers to produce other lures.
What is the scrapbook?
When you tap on your fishing hut, you will find a scrapbook where you can keep a log on all the different fish you have caught and the rewards you have unlocked. And besides, all fishermen should keep scrapbooks for bragging rights
There are 30 different fish species that can be caught and when you catch a new fish type, go back to your fish scrapbook, flip through the pages until you find its picture flashing and claim a reward. The rewards you receive depend on the fishes weight. Obviously the heaviest catch will give the highest reward for each fish species. So make sure you catch them all, try and catch every kind of fish weight to get all the precious rewards!
Also, as you flip through the pages and wonder how to catch more of one type of fish or how to catch a new type of fish, take a closer look to find hints on what types of lures attract a certain fish and what fishing area you can find them. For example, tap and hold the pictures to read a brief description about the different types of fish.
I lost my lure!!!
Luckily, you don't lose the lure if you don't catch the fish! You can try fishing with the same lure as many times as you need until you manage to catch a fish. Only when you catch a fish, the lure is deducted from your lure box.

My barn and silo are full?
Even though everything is full there are still things you
can do. You can still fill the machines to produce item. You see only 9 but it
will allow you to stack up to 99 items on the floor. If you fill the animal
feeds, sugar mill and popcorn pot it will free up space in the silo. If you
produce stuff like dairy or cakes it will use products from the barn so you
could keep this up for a while.
Use the free advertisement every half hour to make an advertisement
so people will eventually come and buy stuff. If not Greg will buy the items
that have been sitting there for quite some time.
You could even use diamonds to get an extra advertisement in
the paper or trash the item from the shop however you will not get it back.
Add a lot of friends
in Game Center and they can find your shop even when you aren't advertising.
Turbo Trucker Achievement
Preparation Guidelines
*** Preparation is the
key factor for a successful Turbo Trucker Run! ***
Your first order board
Choose your first 8-9 truck orders wisely. Discard those
that contain jam, metal bars, and jewelry. If barn space is a problem, choose
orders that don’t take up a lot of space. Keep discarding orders until you like
them all.
Make sure that every order has a green tick/checkmark and
that duplicate orders are covered. (If you have 2 orders each needing 3 cream
cakes, you really need 6 cream cakes, even though each order will have a green
tick.)
General supplies
Have all of your animals ready so you are able to collect
from them when needed.
Once your barn is full, you can continue to make food
products and leave them stacked outside the machines. (Your barn must be
completely full for this to happen.) Consider leaving popcorn, bread, sugars,
and cream until last and then store them outside. You can store up to 100 items
on each machine, though you will only see about 8 of them. As you run your
trucks and your barn empties you can pick up the outside supplies.
Stock long-growing plants in your silo, and be sure your
wheat and corn is ready to be collected in your fields. It is easy to grow a
second or even third crop of wheat and corn during the run.
Keep your fruit on the trees and bushes to collect when you
need it; store some in the silo only if you have extra space.
Additional advice
Ensure that you have enough coins to be able to pay base
price for needed items.
If you are close to a barn, silo, or land expansion, you may
wish to wait until you can expand so you have more barn space.
You may need to stop filling boat orders during Turbo
Trucker preparation so you can concentrate on building your stockpile.
Turbo Trucker
achievements reset after each goal. For example, if you fill 20 trucks (Turbo
Trucker II), you then have to do another
30 to reach Turbo Trucker III! For this
reason the two runs are usually done at least a few days apart, giving you time
to restock in between.

Roadside Stand Tips & Tricks
Roadside Stand Tips &
Tricks
By Glenn Benedict
SELLING
For those who may be new to
the game and need to earn coins. Eggs, bacon and eggs, wool, milk, bacon, sell
about 50 coins less than max and they should go consistently.
Any sugars or dairy products
will go super fast, always do the max amount. ... Pies and cakes, sell at the
max amount. The higher level items will usually go fast.
Jams, juices, and ice cream
go very fast at top price. Feed will go very fast at top price also.
People like me can't seem to
resist, lol.
Goat milk, sell at top price
also. Raspberries, blackberries, apples, cherries, cocoa, coffee beans, you can
sell at top price or slighltly below and they will also go fast.
Crops that are typically used
for feed, sell at slightly below top price. There will be people that fill
their machines, realize they're out and need more.
Potatoes, tomatoes, peppers,
strawberries, lavender and pumpkins will all sell at top price or slightly
below pretty well. I've noticed a lot of people don't grow a lot of these and
just buy them. Me for instance, I only grow tomatoes and buy the rest.
Ore and bars sell extremely
fast. Jewelry will also go very fast. While ore and bars aren't worth much, the
jewelry will bring in a nice coin.
Building and land materials
go quickly, always max the price.
Shovels, TNT, dynamite, axes,
and saws I recommend hanging onto. They don't sell for much, but if you do
sell, always max that too.
Fill up your stand with
unadvertised stuff and put the advertised thing at the end...or close to it (on
the right, rather than the left). I suggest something that won't get bought up
quickly, like full price bacon & eggs. The idea is you want that item to
stick around longer because then the ad will stay up.
Stick around as the shoppers come
by. As they buy things up...BACK FILL! Take full advantage of the ad.
Fill your stand and advertise
as often as you can. Even if its just wheat. See, people will start to see you
as a power seller, so they'll start stopping by more...following you, etc. more
people stopping by = more biz.
I've found that the slower
selling items do well if sold in LOW doses, (1-2 in a stall,) and GROUPED
together in adjoining stalls. People will buy them quick if they need them for
boat/truck orders...BUT they won't buy them if you put 10 of them in one stall.
The price SCARES them. Instead, if they see 1-2 at a time, the price low, so
they'll jump on them. Especially if they see three stalls with them and they
think. "Hey...I need 3 sets of 2 of those for my crates!
On the flip side...Awesome
stuff will sell immediately even if you sell it in bulk for full price. I've
found that cakes, juice, jam, etc... will sell immediately even if I sell 6-10
of them together for a bazillion coins.
If your store LOOKS pretty,
many times things will sell better as well. For instance, I've alternated chili
popcorn and roasted tomatoes through my stalls, just because it LOOKS nice.
Whenever I've done that, they sell very fast. So.........either group things
together in stalls or arrange them so it's pleasing to the eye.
Another trick, if you're
loading up your store with many of the same item...make sure your advertised
item is well to the end/to the right, after many others (ex: you've just loaded
7 stalls with 10x wheat...then make the 8th one the advertised one. This means
those people who've come to buy that wheat will more than likely buy the others
first, leaving your ad intact.)
Seems there are three
"sets" of ads that will rotate in the paper...
1.) Bacon/eggs
2.) Pretty good stuff
3.) The "Frenzy"
stuff.
(The frenzy stuff seems to
stay the least amount of time, while mainly bacon and eggs sticks around
longer.)
If you advertise the hottest
stuff (Barn and Silo expansion items, land Expansion Items, Cakes, Juice,
etc...) you'll find yourself IN the frenzy paper, and people DON'T shop for
long in that paper. They just SWOOP in, look for the item advertised and SWOOP
out. If you advertise the medium stuff,
(produce, muffins, etc.) then you'll find your ad placed in the medium paper. I personally think this is a good place to
be. If you advertise bacon and eggs,
you'll find yourself in the slooooooooow moving paper...which has its benefits,
because chances are you'll have the ad up much longer.
BUYING
Many people fill their store, then they will
"back fill" with cool items.
SO, if you land in a store to find something highly desirable BUT it's
gone...stick around a bit! You never
know...they may be backfilling and you'll be staring at 10 Barn/Silo Expansion
Items that everyone else missed.
Most people will just check
and move on when the ad changes and the "feeding frenzy" begins. That means not many people will wait to see
if the store owner is backfilling.
If you have the time, poke
around in the paper...don't just go to the ads for the things you're interested
in. On the contrary, many times the BEST
stuff is hidden within!
KNOW YOUR PRICES! Many people will sell things WELL under the
top price, because they're cleaning out their barn or silo or they really need
the coins. You can buy low and sell
high............a capitalist's dream.
Seems there are three
"sets" of ads that will rotate in the paper...
1.) Bacon/eggs
2.) Pretty good stuff
3.) The "Frenzy"
stuff.
(The frenzy stuff seems to
stay the least amount of time, while Bacon and Eggs stick around longer.) When the frenzy hits, if you can afford it,
buy up any BEM and LEM you can afford.
It can't hurt, because you can sell it JUST as quickly as you bought it,
if you decide you don't want it. Do it
fast, though! They sell fast!!! Sneeze
and you'll miss them all.
